We are looking for an EdTech Marketing Strategist to join our team and provide expert guidance to our EdTech clients. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in EdTech marketing—whether from an agency, EdTech company, or education-related organization—who understands the nuances of marketing to K-12 and higher ed audiences.
The Role
As an EdTech Marketing Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, collaborating with our Account Strategists to develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies. Your expertise in K-12 and higher ed audiences will be instrumental in shaping campaigns that resonate and drive results.
Responsibilities
- Act as the EdTech marketing expert for our clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Account Strategists to develop, refine, and optimize marketing campaigns targeting K-12 and higher education audiences.
- Advise on messaging, positioning, content, and marketing tactics tailored to educators, school administrators, and decision-makers in education.
- Provide input on lead generation, inbound marketing, paid advertising, content marketing, and social media strategies for EdTech companies.
- Leverage your network within K-12 and higher ed to provide industry insights, partnerships, or promotional opportunities.
- Stay up to date on education trends, policy changes, and buying behaviors to guide clients effectively.
- Assist in campaign execution as needed, ensuring marketing initiatives align with education-specific best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- EdTech Expertise
Proven experience marketing to K-12 schools, districts, or higher education institutions. Prior experience in an EdTech company, agency, or education-related role preferred. - Marketing Knowledge
Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing tactics, including digital marketing, demand generation, and content strategy. - Network & Industry Awareness
Connections in the K-12 and higher education space (educators, administrators, EdTech decision-makers) are a huge plus. - Strategic Thinking
Ability to translate educational trends into actionable marketing strategies for EdTech companies. - Collaboration & Communication
Comfortable working alongside Account Strategists, creative teams, and clients to provide strategic marketing advice. - Hands-On Experience
